Certification Question

Does passing the ICND1&2 automatically equal the CCNA or able to just take the test? Im confused how it all works before the CCNA. Any help would be great.

You can take the CCNA as 1 test or as 2 tests.

1 Test = CCNA
2 Tests = ICND1 (CCENT) and then the ICND2, which once you pass both you get the CCNA

The price is $250 for 1 or $125 ea for the 2 test option. So cost is really the same, you just have to sit through 2 tests. Answer more questions I would guess.

Hi Serpent

Many years ago Cisco decided to split in CCNA into two parts because CCNA is very hard because it is taken by people with very little experience so there are a thousand new concepts to be learnt. You do can CCNA solely or the two seperate exams. They used to be called INTRO and Inter Connecting Cisco Network Devices ICND which seem a better naming convention.
